Many of you have waited patiently : Pythagoras 12 has finally been released.
In Pythagoras 12, lots of new features and possibilities are added in the basic module, the digital terrain module, raster module and road design module. Also the GIS functionalities have been updated with a lot of new features.

1. It is a stand-alone program with GIS capabilities that is customizable
Stand-alone: This means that Pythagoras is an application that runs all by itself.
There is thus no need for a CAD-engine (such as AutoCad, Microstation, DesignCad,…) in order to get your Coordinate Geometry software up and running, which could end up costing a great deal more than you might expect...

When developing Pythagoras, our developers are never restricted by 'limitations' of the CAD-software, since we developed the CAD-software ourselves. As a result, we never need to come up with "Quick and Dirty" solutions as a workaround to the inherent limitation of the CAD-software used.

3. Its Customer-friendly license policies
Certain CAD programs (e.g. AutoDesk) charge their customers a complete new license if you don't sign up to a support/upgrade program by a specific date. ADW Software, on the other hand, offers upgrade prices, even if you want to upgrade a version of Pythagoras that is 4 generations older than the most recent version.
Our upgrade prices are always in direct correlation to the development effort for the different modules. The upgrade price for a module that contains few new features is significantly lower than a module with a great deal of new features.
In addition, the software is not computer-linked: you can install the software on as many computers as you wish.
4. It is extremely User-friendly
Many CAD programs - even the best known, and most used - require months of training before you really get to know the program and before you can optimize your productivity with the program.
Pythagoras is so user-friendly that the learning-curve with Pythagoras is limited to a few days!
Pythagoras' unique concept allows you to draw much more intuitively. The most important data are shown "on-the-fly" instead of via extra dialogs that require valuable screen space or commands that need to be memorized.
